2024 Young Democratic Socialists of America Conference

The 2024 Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) Conference will be held from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 3 in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme of the 2024 Conference is Victory in the Heart of Empire. Join YDSA to learn about how we’re fighting for and winning trans liberation, reproductive justice, a stronger labor movement, and more in even the most right-wing states in the biggest imperial power in the world today.

The YDSA Conference is an annual event for young socialists around the country to come together for political education, organizing training, keynote speakers, panels, and more. Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) is the campus-focused youth and student section of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Registration is now closed.

This year, there was an application to attend so we can make sure there are spots for first-time and underrepresented attendees and a fair distribution of spots for YDSA chapters. Each chapter was allowed up to 8 spots, and YDSA encouraged chapters to send members who haven’t attended before.

DSA will have a hotel room block at the event venue. YDSA attendees can split rooms up to four ways to save on costs. Hotel booking link will be sent alongside the registration page. The deadline to book at the conference hotel was Friday, February 9, 2024.

Scholarships & Solidarity Housing

DSA offered limited scholarships for attendees who cannot travel or attend the conference without support, as well as assistance finding solidarity housing. Scholarships applications and solidarity housing requests are now closed.

The full conference schedule can be found here.
